Sameer S. Bharadwaj most recently has served as President of Orbia’s Fluorinated Solutions & Polymer Solutions business groups, a set of businesses that are leaders in advancing lives through basic materials and advanced materials, formulated solutions and services in a diverse set of end markets.
With more than 20 years of experience, Sameer is a proven strategic leader with a track record of fostering business growth through technology-led innovation, operational excellence and talent development across the advanced materials, technology, energy and pharmaceutical industries.
Since joining Orbia in 2016 to lead the compounds business group, Sameer has assumed leadership of the Alphagary, Koura and Vestolit commercial brands and brought Orbia’s fluorine-based and PVC and vinyl polymer compound solution portfolios to competitive market positions and his global teams to high levels of performance. Prior to joining Orbia, Sameer held numerous executive leadership positions over the course of an 11-year tenure at Cabot Corporation, most recently as Vice President and General Manager, where he steered go-to-market strategy and commercialization of new technologies with a key focus in the energy and materials spaces. Before that, Sameer worked as a strategy consultant for The Boston Consulting Group, where he served clients in the metals, telecommunications, technology, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. He started his career as a senior research engineer at The Dow Chemical Company.
Sameer has an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Ph.D in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Bombay.

Nicholas P. Ballas (Nick) is an Executive Vice President as well as a President in Orbia’s Polymer Solutions business group. Nick steers the Vestolit business, a leader in advancing lives by producing basic materials, advanced materials and formulated solutions in a diverse set of end markets.
Nick is an accomplished executive with extensive global experience in the chemical and manufacturing industries. He has a track record of developing and executing strategy, enhancing operations and delivering top- and bottom-line results.
Prior to joining Orbia in 2020, Nick served for eight years as an Executive Vice President of Nexans SA, a worldwide leader in the cable industry, where he led the company’s Asia Pacific business division. Nick also served as a director of Nexans Foundation, where he helped steer efforts to bring electricity to disadvantaged communities throughout the world. Nick´s prior experiences include consulting work at Cathedral Hill Advisory, Samudera Shipping in Indonesia and an early career at Cabot Corporation where he was instrumental in building the company’s business in the Asia Pacific region. Nick is currently a board member at Samudera Shipping Line.

Freek brings leadership acumen and a drive for results to his role as President of Orbia Building & Infrastructure. Since joining Orbia B&I in 2019 as President of APAC, Freek has held progressive leadership roles spanning general management, mergers and acquisitions and new business, including most recently the position of General Manager of EMEA and APAC: a position he maintains in addition to his role as President. Freek has an extensive track record of steering successful acquisitions and integrations to deliver growth across the U.S., Canada, India and Indonesia; developing and scaling Orbia B&I’s e-commerce operations and delivering top- and bottom-line results across diverse global markets.

Peter joined Orbia in 2018 to lead the Dura-Line brand. Having held multiple executive positions in Cisco’s EMEA and emerging markets operations, Peter has great knowledge and vision on how to improve lives through data. Prior to his work at Cisco, Peter was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, serving clients in the chemicals, automotive, airline, and banking sectors.
He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where he obtained his MBA and management of technology degree.

Prior to joining Orbia, Deb served as PerkinElmer’s global CHRO and was the architect behind the company’s people strategy. Prior to PerkinElmer, Deb spent 17 years with IBM, living and working in both the U.S and Europe in leadership roles where she enhanced the company’s global HR programs and led an enterprise-wide talent transformation. Deb started her career in a software start up with Lotus Development in 1991, where she held progressive leadership roles until IBM acquired Lotus in 1999.

Prior to joining Orbia, Jim held a variety of senior positions, most recently serving as Vice President and Corporate Controller of Cabot Corporation, where he oversaw all reporting and internal control activities, finance process improvements and facilitation of Cabot’s Audit Committee activities. Over the course of his career, Jim lived and worked across several continents and steered teams in corporate reporting, business financial planning and analysis, investor relations and internal audit.

With over 35 years of experience in the specialty materials and chemicals industries, John has expertise in safety best practices, environmental compliance, process optimization and strategic project execution and a track record in steering process, program and commercial improvements that drive efficiencies as well as growth.
Since joining Orbia in 2018, John has led the Health, Safety & Environment and Engineering teams for Koura, Alphagary and recently Vestolit to new levels of operational excellence. As the Corporate Vice President of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs, Tania is responsible for steering Orbia’s corporate governance and sustainability agenda to achieve a net positive impact on the environment by addressing decarbonization, renewable energy and energy efficiency, circular economy, sustainability science and innovation, technology, partnerships and external affairs.
Tania brings a commitment to Orbia’s purpose-driven journey to her role as well as corporate development expertise and more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector. She has a background at the intersection of energy and strategy, with a particular focus on guiding transitions and sustainable development agendas. Prior to joining Orbia, Tania held numerous leadership roles in Mexico’s largest state-owned electricity company, CFE, and in its trading and marketing entity CFEnergía. Before that, Tania worked at the Board level as well as in the finance department at PEMEX. Tania is a founding member of Voz Experta, an NGO that supports women’s leadership in businesses in the environmental and energy sectors as well as a member of numerous think tanks including COMEXI, Club of Rome and Centro Tepoztlán that are promoting the study and analysis of global challenges including climate change.
She holds an M.A. in Economics and Political Science from El Colegio de Mexico in Mexico City and a B.A. in Economics, Politics and Philosophy from York University in the U.K.

As the Corporate Vice President of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs, Tania is responsible for steering Orbia’s corporate governance and sustainability agenda to achieve a net positive impact on the environment by addressing decarbonization, renewable energy and energy efficiency, circular economy, sustainability science and innovation, technology, partnerships and external affairs.
Tania brings a commitment to Orbia’s purpose-driven journey to her role as well as corporate development expertise and more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector. She has a background at the intersection of energy and strategy, with a particular focus on guiding transitions and sustainable development agendas. Jorge Luis is the corporate vice president of internal audit. He has more than 20 years of experience in finance, treasury, credit, risk assessment, auditing, and internal controls.
Before joining Orbia in 2008, he worked for companies including AVON, Becton Dickinson, DUPONT, and Dow Chemical.
Jorge Luis holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and an MBA from Universidad Iberoamericana. He also holds CIA and CSA certificates accredited by the Florida Institute of Internal Auditors.
